sample sales: Is there a site or something where I can get info on the latest sample sales? How do people find out where they are?|||Yes! I get updates from several sites. Most sample sales are in New York, but there are many in L.A. as well. Go to TopButton.com to sign up for email updates on sample sales, as well as get an invite to their online sample sale site, TheTopSecret.com (or maybe it's just TopSecret.com...can't remember). Also go to DailyCandy.com and sign up for their newsletter in email - they'll send you updates on sample sales, along with other stuff. Both the sites will give you the address of the sales, sometimes price points, times, dates, etc. Clothingline.com is a continuous NY sample sale, and you can just repeatedly check their site or sign up on their site for emails from them as well. There are also online options if you're not near New York City - hautelook.com, gilt.com, and ideeli.com are all great (Gilt and Ideeli require invites - you can email me at archivingfashion@gmail.com to request one if you want, and if you sign up for HauteLook through an invite, you get $10 your first purchase). They do have really good sales on things but ya have to be real quick and check every day. its better if you take the cell phone notifications if your looking for something specific.sell out fast Report Abuse |||There is another site called Stylebible.com that also lists sample sales, they currently only have New York but LA is due soon. There are now a fair few online sample sales, most of them require an invite or a code but if you register on Stylebible (which offers free registration) you can usually find the codes there. They offer a diary that you can always look up so its a good one to have on your radar. A recent one they featured was Cocosa, it offers some of the most amazing high-style discounts on the web, like Karl Lagerfeld's collection that鈥檚 currently on offer. (Use the joining code headstream to gain access to this positive cornucopia of stylish must-haves). The online sales are worth joining because they seem to have all the really big designers.
