Most designer compnaies have only a sample in stores that they can directly buy from or order. Think of buying a wedding dress you chose the style then they order it in then they fit the dress you got in to fit perfect. Not all samples are wedding dresses then go from designer names like chanel, D&G, prada etc. SO a sample sale is when they sell the actual samples they have in stock.
