well an art program, say photoshop or the gimp etc would be good to do the artwork, as you can use layers... as for putting it on the menu, on the disk itself http://www.ulead.com/dmf/runme.htm you can trial photoshop i think or "the gimp" is free.. the ulead thing u can trial for a while also.
